Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01 : ARRIVAL IN ISTANBUL BOSPHORUS CRUISE TOUR

Meet and greet at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Transfer to hotel and relax.Afternoon at around 13:00hrs, leave for half-day tour visiting City Walls, Golden Horn and cable car to Pierre Loti Hill. Then go for Bosphorus Cruise along the Bosphorus, the winding strait separating Europe & Asia.

Bosphorus coastline is a delightful mixture of the past and the present where one can enjoy the grand splendour and quaint beauty of the ancient wooden mansions, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. Rumeli Fortress (from the boat, no interior visit) and Leander’s Tower (from the boat, no interior visit).

Overnight stay is at Istanbul.

Day 02 : ISTANBUL CITY TOUR

Early morning breakfast at hotel, depart for half-day city tour. Visit St. Sophia, Byzantine Hippodrome, in which stand the obelisk brought from Egypt by Theodosius and the Serpent Column taken from Delphi by Constantine.

Blue Mosque (will be visited from outside if the tour is taken on Friday), which has six minarets and a middle dome of 109 feet and Grand Covered Bazaar (closed on Sundays) dating back to 15th century. It covers over 4,000 shops under one roof. Afternoon free at leisure. If desired we can leave the clients at Bazaar, and they can return to their hotels by their own. Lunch and dinner excluded.

Overnight stay is at Istanbul.

Day 03 : ISTANBUL – KAYSERI - CAPPADOCIA

Today we give you packed breakfast as we have to leave early morning for our flight to Kayseri (TK2010 or any earlier IST/ASR domestic flight).

Upon arrival at Kayseri Erciyes Airport, meet and greet our representative and drive to Cappadocia. On arrival to Cappadocia, visit Red Valley which is one of the most beautiful trekking valleys in Cappadocia.

Explore the famous rock-cut churches and hiking for 5km through the valley. After hiking, rest in Old Cavusin Village where is one of old Greek Villages in Cappadocia. The village is known with its houses and churches of the Christian clergymen. After lunch at local restaurant visit to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Finally visit to Pigeon Valley.

After the tour, we transfer you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay is at Cappadocia.(B L D)

Day 04 : CAPPADOCIA

After breakfast at hotel, leave for a full day tour of Cappadocia.

Morning visit Devrent Valley, which has various types of fairy chimneys. Pasabaglari (Monk’s Valley) with some other types of fairy chimneys. Avanos Region, known with its pottery, a craft dating back to Hittite period.

After lunch at local restaurant visit Goreme - Open-Air Museum, which is full of pink, rose and white tapering columns. These tall free standing cones of stone curve and twist as if pulled from earth like taffy. Others are tall like fairy chimneys. The caves were settled in the 4th century as monasteries. Visit some caves on the cliffs to see Byzantine frescoes decorating early Christian churches. Stop at Citadel of Uchisar and Esentepe for beautiful view of Cappadocia. You will also have chance to take photo at these places.

Dinner and overnight stay is at Cappadocia. (B L D)

Day 05 : CAPPADOCIA - KAYSERI – IZMIR – KUSADASI

After breakfast at hotel, morning transfer to Kayseri Erciyes Airport (departure from Kayseri Erciyes Airport anytime between 07:30am-09:00hrs only) to take a domestic flight to Izmir (can be via Istanbul as per the travel date).

Upon arrival at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, meet our representative and transfer to hotel in Kusadasi. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Dinner is served at local restaurant.

Overnight stay is at Kusadasi (B - D)

Day 06 : KUSADASI – DAY TRIP TO EPHESUS

After breakfast at hotel, go for a full-day tour to Ephesus.

Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of the site of one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the world, the site of Temple of Artemis and the ancient city of Ephesus. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the city and stadium where chariot and horse races were once held. You will also have the chance to experience some Turkish handicrafts and to visit the pilgrimage point claimed to be the last home of the Virgin Mary and your last visit will be Sirince Village which is located on the top of a mountain and famous with wines that you can taste.

After the tour we return late evening to our hotel.

Day 07 : KUSADASI – DAY TRIP TO PAMUKKALE

After breakfast at hotel, morning drive to Pamukkale for full-day tour.

Visit Pamukkale Cotton Fortress and Hierapolis Ancient Site, including magnificently preserved necropolis, the main street, gates, the thermal baths, the Greco Roman theatre and the Basilica of St. Philippe. Swim in a therapeutic bath of hot spring mineral waters. Lunch at local restaurant during the tour.

After the day tour we return late evening to hotel.

Dinner and your overnight stay is at Kusadasi.(B L D)

Day 08 : DEPART ISTANBUL

Today we bid farewell to our new Turkish friends and transfer to Izmir airport for your internal flight to Istanbul and connect onward flight back home. Or one can take an add-on tour to Greece
